Francesco Prete

Prof. Francesco Paolo Prete, MD, PhD, MSc (Oxon) is Associate Professor of General Surgery at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, Italy, and Consultant Surgeon at Policlinico di Bari. Trained in Italy and the UK, with senior fellowships at University College London Hospital and a research fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, his expertise spans endocrine, colorectal, pancreatic, and sarcoma surgery, with a strong focus on minimally invasive and oncologic surgery. He has authored 87 peer-reviewed publications (H-index 17), serves on multiple editorial boards, and is a Board Member of the European Society of Surgery.
