Cem Terzi

Prof. Dr. Cem Terzi was born in Ankara in 1962 and graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1984. He completed his specialization in General Surgery in 1992 and worked in the United Kingdom at Southampton University Hospitals, obtaining full GMC registration in 1997. He became Professor of Surgery at Dokuz Eylül University in 2005 and served as University General Secretary in 2008. Prof. Terzi is a former President of the European Surgical Society and the Turkish Surgical Society, Chair of the UEMS Board of General Surgery, and recipient of the European Surgical Society Honor Award. His main interests include colorectal surgery, HIPEC, surgical education, and medical training.
