Dr. Biju Pottakkat is Professor and Head of Surgical Gastroenterology at JIPMER, Puducherry, with advanced training in gastrointestinal and HPB surgery. An internationally credentialed surgeon and academic, he has led multiple nationally funded research projects, authored over 160 peer-reviewed publications, and contributed to several clinical guidelines. His work spans complex clinical care, surgical education, and health research, with active leadership roles in national and international professional bodies.
