Alfonso Barbarisi

Prof. Alfonso Barbarisi is Full Professor of Surgery at the University of Naples, Italy. He is an Honorary Member of the European Society of Surgery and has served as President of the European Society of Surgery, the Italian Society of Endocrine Surgery, and the Italian Cancer Society. He is currently President of the Italian Association of Academic Teachers (AIDU) and Vice-President of the European Federation of Christian Teachers (SIESC). Prof. Barbarisi is widely recognized for his academic leadership, surgical expertise, and longstanding contribution to surgical education, research, and professional governance at both national and European levels.
